Angry Irish Fan - ND Football Update

So I felt like blogging again. Mostly for funsies while I sit at home on a Friday night......(I worked overtime 5 nights this week.....). Anyways, its not like anyone is going to actually read this, so, I figured I might as well use this as a way to vent about my abusive relationship with Notre Dame Football.

So for those of you who give two shits, its been an absolute shit show at the University following the crushing  defeat to Florida State in the Champs sports bowl. Let me try to walk you through the events as best I can...(You'll Get the Star Wars related titles towards the end)


Episode One - The Tandem Menace

Story of the year....

To kick it off, loosing a bowl game always blows, especially when you had BCS dreams to begin the season. Tommy Reese did his whole I cant throw the ball to the right fucking team deal. Oh you mean I have the number 13 Pick in the NFL draft on my team? WOW! There's no way the other team would even think of quadruple covering him!!....Need I say more? Few picks and a couple fumbles later and we suck again....And don't even get me going on the cluster fuck that was the two QB tandem system that Brian Kelly tried to use. I mean, the whole Wild Cat thing is fine and dandy....but maybe save it for when your QB is slumping...and maybe not flip them in and out on every other play...just a thought.

Episode Two - Recruit Wars

Well this shit just sucked.....we had a great class....people de-comitted...we stole the top QB from LSU...then we lost the top WR to Houston...Houston? Yes to fucking Houston. Then we get some kid to commit like a month after national signing day...because that makes sense. Then three motherfuckers enroll early, which is supposed to be good, and the kid who is supposed to save our secondary leaves the school. So all in all I'd call it a crap shoot of a recruitment season.

Episode Three -Revenge of the Skip

Now here's where the real kick in the nut sack comes. One of the few pluses from last year was stud Defensive End Aaron Lynch. I mean this kid was the kind of beast that ND NEVER EVER EVER has on defense. Yes I know Te'o is sick, but this kid could literally take over a game. The two of them together was going to be epic. Welp...a year into his time in South Bend this ass clown decides hes homesick and transfers to South Florida......yup...the same South Florida that we shit out pants against to open last season. Motherfucking Skip Holtz sticks it to us again.

Episode Four - A New Hope?

So....in most cases..your starting QB getting arrested for under-aged drinking and assaulting an officer is a bad thing...HOWEVER! In this case the QB is Tommy Reese, who is doing nothing more than clogging up the depth chart and taking away valuable first string reps from the much more qualified QBs during summer practice. THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO ND SINCE JEFF SAMARDIJAJASJKASJKASJAKAAAA!!!! Bye-bye to Turnover Tommy. I mean, he could be a nice kid, but I'm gonna guess a kid who knees a cop in the gut doesn't have the highest moral code. SO PLEASE!!! Kelly just give him the boot. So what if you get crap for people telling you you treated him and Michael Floyd differently...Welcome to 21st century college football.


So all I can say is that despite them giving me every reason to hate them....I'm still there ND...this shits for life....all I'm asking for is one....ONE..national championship before I die...
